Fantastic, great move guys! This is really going to help propagate knowledge about Irish startups.

    Hey Guys,

Love this support and encouragement to get our data about Irish startups properly structured in CrunchBase. Would also like to encourage any Irish startups to check out our API if they want to take data out of the system: crunchbase.com/help/api.

Feel free to email me if you need any help or have any questions about CB.

It that's what's needed to turn the tide so Techcrunch UK and Oirland will feature more Irish companies than Techcrunch.com, then great!

A bit late to mention it but did Web2Ireland try out TradeVibes (http://www.tradevibes.com/) before settling on CrunchBase? I find TradeVibes information to be better in most areas and the site is more usable. Still, CrunchBase is a useful resource.

    Mike - Thanks.

Henry - Thanks - hopefully once we have enough data - we can use your APIs to display information in different ways on web2ireland

Damien - we do have an absence of coverage on TC from Ireland - one step in right direction

Paul - Tradevibes is another option - but for the moment the goal is to get one sorted... but its one for the future no doubt.

    Jack - Thanks

Keith - Henry may advise - but you should be able to edit your entry at any time [without a login]
